Winter 2024-2025 in Chamonix
A rich program of sporting and cultural events awaits visitors this winter 2024-2025.
Here is a non-exhaustive list of ideas for activities and events to take part in
during your next winter holiday at the foot of Mont-Blanc.
THE CHAMONIX CHRISTMAS VILLAGE
December 18, 2024 to January 3, 2025
From 1pm to 7pm
Christmas products, craftsmen, artists or small producers present in small wooden chalets on the Place du Triangle de l'Amitié in front of the tourist office.
On December 21, enjoy until 9pm!
MAGICAL STROLLS
The big Christmas parade will pass through the pedestrian streets of Chamonix on December 24 at the end of the day.
Other parades will take place during the Christmas vacations, bringing the streets of Chamonix to life.

KANDAHAR JUNIOR
January 10 to 12
Ski Club les Houches (Chamonix Valley) organizes the 9th Kandahar Junior.
The Junior Kandahar brings together the best youngsters in the U14 category from Europe's leading Alpine skiing nations.
They'll be competing on the same slopes as the best World Cup downhillers in the Kandahar FIS.

MEN'S & WOMEN'S SLALOMS
January 4-5 and 11-12, 2025
FIS slaloms with the best male and female slalom racers!
January 4 and 5 for the men and January 11 and 12 for the women.
And what's more, it's night-time!

THE TRAIL OF THE GREATS
March 8 and 9, 2025
La Trace des Grands is a ski mountaineering race held on the Grands-Montets ski area in Argentière.
Five race formats are on offer: from the untimed, disguised race, to the duo race, to the technical, demanding race.
Ski touring or splitboarding, but with the same passion for sliding and adventure!
All that's left to do is choose your race for a great time in the mountains!
CHAMONIX UNLIMITED FESTIVAL
March 26 to 30, 2025
Ephemeral electro stages set up in unusual locations around Chamonix, for unforgettable concerts at the foot of Mont Blanc.
